Hyperlocal Media Competition – Open 4th November

The Technology Strategy Board and Nesta have worked together to develop the Hyperlocal Media competition, launching on November 4th. With a total fund of £2.5m for collaborative research and development, the aim of the competition will be to invest in several significant projects across the UK.  We anticipate a mix of project ideas that target rural and urban areas, but all are intended to develop the kinds of enabling technologies, platforms and services which build up the businesses of the future and help the UK to become a world-centre for hyperlocal media.

Competition Opens: 4th November

Competition Closes: 18th December (1st stage application)

Briefing Events: 
London, 8th November
Cardiff, 18th November
Leeds, 19th November
Glasgow, 20th November
