Start-Ups Listen Up! Demo Day comes to SMWLDN


SMWLDN Demo Day is a chance for firms and startups to showcase the products and innovations which will propel the future of Social Media. Firms will face questions from an audience of leading brands, agencies, investors, analysts and press.

The Schedule

The morning session (11am-1pm) will see large firms to pitch their latest products to agencies and clients. Firms will begin new conversations while consolidating existing relationships.

Startup and early stage firms lead the afternoon session (2pm-4pm), pitching directly to large agencies and brands. Registration for firms and attendees is now open.

Hosted by Tech City accelerator space The Bakery, SMWLDN Demo Day will put technical innovation in front of an audience of potential buyers and collaborators.

Startups wishing to pitch and exhibit during the afternoon session can apply via a simple registration form on Capital List. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts, with successful companies being notified by 19 Sep.

Facebook would like to invite you to FbStart London (Mon Sep 16). The event is designed to help rapidly growing, leading start-ups in the UK accelerate user growth, engagement and ultimately drive greater business results by leveraging Facebook’s acquisition and distribution tools – both organic and paid.

Speakers will include Andrew ‘Boz’ Bosworth, Facebook’s global director of engineering. Boz is one of Facebook’s earliest employees and is famously the creator of the Facebook news feed. There will also be a panel discussion featuring top start-ups sharing their experiences.
