We are pleased to invite you to the pitching event for the Digital Innovation Contest- Culture 2. This event will include pitches from the six contest finalists who will be presenting to the Design Museum and The Public under two challenge areas: ‘digital campaigning and fundraising’ and ‘engaging gallery journeys’. The successful companies will receive an award of up to £24,000 to develop a working prototype. The following companies have been chosen as finalists and will be taking part in the pitching session:
- Sticky World
- Champollion Digital
The finalists will pitch to a panel of judges that will include representatives from the challenge partners: Josephine Chanter from the Design Museum and Ian Danby from The Public, hosted by IC tomorrow’s Mitra Memarzia and Matt Sansam from the Technology Strategy Board. The panels will also be joined by expertise from Frank Boyd from Creative Industries KTN, Ghislaine Boddington from Body>Data>Space, and Fiddian Warman from Soda to give a comprehensive review of the proposals. This event is a great opportunity for those working in the cultural sector to find out more about how new innovations in digital technologies can help to enhance audience engagement and generate additional revenues.
There will be a networking session at the end of the afternoon to encourage further discussions and potential collaborations with the digital innovators who will be showcasing their work at the event. The final is taking place at The White Building in east London, a new cultural venue focusing on innovation and creative practice at the intersection of art, technology and sustainability which is run by SPACE. This event is free to attend, but places are limited so reserve your place now by registering for the event here.
