Anchor, Skillset and Bristol Media present this one day action-packed workshop, delivered by a range of industry professionals, followed by networking opportunity at Bristol Media’s Media Tuesday event. This workshop is suitable for all freelancers from production and post production backgrounds, including digital media.
- Skills for marketing yourself such as CV writing, online profiles, interview skills and using social media to find work.
- Pitching and presenting an idea effectively with valuable insights from industry insiders on the do’s and more critically the don’ts of the pitching process in a relaxed and informal session.
- Learn how to polish up your networking skills and ensure you stand out from the crowd. You will learn how to overcome the fear of entering a room, how to read conversations, how to enter and leave a conversation and how and when to follow up leads.
This session takes place on 24 April and is followed by Media Tuesday, a monthly networking event run by Bristol Media to which all delegates are welcome to try out their new found skills with help from the hosts.
