The Internet of Important Things Workshop, Surrey, 12 December

The Challenges of Connecting Things Together

ISIC Surrey, University of Surrey

12th December

Connecting the Internet of Things (IoT) is a vital challenge we face. It’s arguable that the first applications of the IoT will be those which yield the largest and most immediate economic returns, or those which offer the greatest increases in consumer welfare.

We invite you to attend a workshop that incorporates the theory, practice and delivery of the connectivity which will support the IoT.

By attending this workshop, you will hear from:
  • mobile, satellite and fixed network operators;
  • leading academics;
  • companies building solutions right now.
You will have the opportunity to participate in discussions with leading experts and innovators in the field, and influence this market while it is still in its infancy.The Centre for Communication Systems Research, at the University of Surrey, is the UK’s largest and most well-known academic research centre in Mobile and Satellite Communication Systems. Hosted here, from 10.00 to 16:00 on the 12th of December, the workshop also offers the opportunity to visit the ‘Smart Campus’ facilities.This is an International Space Innovation Centre-Surrey (ISIC-Surrey) event administered by Helios.
