Now in its 7th year, the Creative Challenge provides entrepreneurial support and workshops to all University for the Creative Arts (UCA) students. Businesses who get involved in the Challenge will benefit from supporting the students, who are invited to step up to the mark and compete by entering a creative, innovative idea that makes a positive difference to the world and has wider commercial potential.
Year on year the Creative Challenge receives a great response from businesses across all the creative disciplines; in past years these have included Apple, Virgin Media, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and British Design Innovation.
There are many ways businesses can get involved: be a guest speaker and share your know-how, become an assessor, offer a valuable work placement opportunity or even sponsor a student through the programme. All businesses are keen to meet and support the next generation of talent coming through – with many businesses benefiting from recruiting the finalists!
To hear more about this year’s Creative Challenge and network with students, academics and other businesses, there are two events taking place in late October – the first in the Gallery, Epsom on 26th October and the second at the Herbert Read Gallery, Canterbury, on 31st October.
