NextGen is the UK’s showcase for Next Generation broadband activity – enabling a wider understanding of digital network investment as the essential foundation for local economic growth and innovation.
NextGen 11, our annual national 2-day conference, will be held on 15 and 16 November at the UWE Exhibition and Conference Centre in Bristol, hosted by Bristol City Council. Registration officially opens 1 September – there is an early bird discount of 10%.
Confirmed speakers include Chris Holden, President of the Fibre to the Home Council Europe; Suvi Linden, Finland’s former Communications Minister instrumental in making broadband a legal right for Finland’s citizens; Kate McGavin, Head of Broadband Policy Department for Culture, Media and Sport and Dave Carter, Director Manchester Digital Development Agency and Chair of INCA. Neelie Kroes, Vice President of the European Commission, will deliver a special video address.
In the next 12 weeks we will develop an event that will once again be the premier UK platform for progress in this arena.
